The course opened in 1997, has a par of 69 and measures 5838 metres in length. T
his wonderful venue for playing golf in Italy winds its way through hilly terrain where its fairways change height and width quite considerably, it has 3 large lakes within its grounds but the water doesn’t really come into play but they compliment the incredible countryside that you will see during your round of golf in Italy. The greens at San Valentino are very fast and being protected by many bunkers they require some accurate approach shots.San Valentino’s clubhouse is beautiful and worth a visit even if you are not playing golf in Italy.It covers an area of over 3000 square metres. It is very comfortable and salubrious and the facilities inside include a sauna, solarium, congress centre and even an indoor golf facility. The restaurant is a delight and you can experience some superb local food in its cuisine.Because there is also a hotel at San Valentino, there are other activities available which include an angling lake, a nature trail which includes a gym in the woodlands, climbing wall and a survivor course ideal pursuits for having a break away from playing golg in Italy. There is also a large outdoor swimming pool as well as a whirlpool. The practice facilities are as you would expect first class, there is a 30 bay driving range which includes 12 covered bays a putting green and a pitching green with bunkers so why not work on your game as well, when coming to play golf in Italy.
