The former World No1 Nick Price, who is no stranger to Algarve golf breaks, has teamed up with the famous golf course architect, Ronald Fream, to create a uniquely designed 18-hole course with 27 varied greens. In 2005 the Gramacho Course hosted the Portuguese Ladies Open. The design technique and the creative shaping provide a genuine challenge. The wonderful characteristics already existing on the site, from the boulder outcrops and dry stone walling to the fig, carob and olive trees, have been complemented by artfully positioned lakes and bunkers.
