Hole 3
This hole may seem short, but looking out from the tee, one soon realises that accuracy is a must. The drive has to be very straight into a narrow fairway with bush on both sides. The second shot may reach the green, but over tall trees, uphill and into a blind green. Laying-up is suggested to avoid this very risky shot. The green is undulating, with two tears and well positioned at the top of the cliff.
Hole 5
This is a short par 4, but rather tricky. Teeing off requires restraint, a well positioned lake will be in play at about 250 metres on a downhill slope. A fairway wood or a long iron is recommended off the tee. The second shot will be over water right up to a fair size green. This shot has to well hit otherwise this hole can be a disaster.
Hole 16
This green can be reached with a very long and accurate drive.,
Nevertheless, for shorter hitters, this is a very challenging hole.
The fairway curves to the right leaving most straight drives going
into the cliffs on the left side. The second shot is usually downhill and into a rather small and sloppy green
