Eighteen holes skilfully scattered throughout an area of 620.000 m2, the Cima Course presents itself as a highly competitive course for your Algarve golf breaks. It is bordered to the north by the National Road 125 and spreads to the south, where its limits are a municipal road that leads to the Ria Course. From any part of the course, both the sea and the Algarvean mountains are a delight to anyone’s eyes.
Since there will be no real estate construction on the site, the Cima Course is indeed a paradise to those golfers on their Algarve golf breaks, who love to be always in contact with nature.
Hole 4
Although not a long hole the approach needs to be played from the fairway as distance control and accuracy are vital if you are to give yourself a chance of picking up a shot. The undulating green is situated just over a small stream and if you get on the wrong side of the green then three-putting is a strong possibility.
Hole 14
Out of bounds on both sides of a narrow fairway penalises the wayward player, for those who are erraticwith the drive it is better to hit a fairway wood or long iron from the tee. Once on the fairway the hole is not over : the second shot is normally played with a mid to long iron and must find a green that is bunkered on both sides.
Hole 18
The final hole is one of the best finishing holes to be found in the Algarve, not only the 415m between the tee and the hole, but also the lake that runs all the way down the right and in front of the severely undulatinggreen and the undulating green. All together to ensure that you will have to concentrate all the way until the final putt safely reaches the bottom of the hole.
