  Its location is beautiful and being situated between the Trebbia River and the foothills of the Apennines this course offers numerous and spectacular views from many of its golf holes. And You may also get a glimpse of the areas fascinating wildlife whilst playing golf in Italy.Each hole requires an accurate tee shot as its fairways wind their way through ancient oak, chestnut, poplar and locust trees and the golfer will be treated to fascinating scenery of the riverbank which runs along many holes. Croara Country Club was opened as 9 holes in 1975 and was designed by the course architect Buratti. The second 9 holes, designed by Croze and Lo Cascio, were then added in 1983. The completed 18 holes measures 6065 metres and has a par of 72 making a good challenge for a round of golf in Italy. The quality of the course is renowned and has been used for several important tournaments including  the first Italian Women’s open on the European ladies PGA tour.The practice facilities include a driving range and pitching and putting greens. Croara Country Club has a magnificent clubhouse which compliments the golf course and the surrounding land wonderfully and it presents a great atmosphere to relax and while away a few hours before or after your game. It has a fabulous restaurant and dining in it during your visit must not be missed. The club has a great outdoor swimming pool as well as tennis courts and a billiard room. So spending a day at Croara Country Club, during you trip to play golf in Italy, will be an enjoyable experience for anyone.
