Clube de Golfe do Montado is located near the Palmela Castle and is surrounded by the Setúbal vineyards, stemming from a cork grove hillside, where streams and lakes turn this estate into a magnificent place to play on your golf holiday to this area of Portugal. Hole 2

It is necessary to take three shots on this par 5, because of abundance of water on the right side and before the green. Beautiful hole, but can not lose concentration, or it will bite you.

Hole 17

Long drives must stay on the left of the fairway due to the slope leading to high rough. The green can be reached with a second shot for long hitters, but it is a tricky shot as it will be 180 metres all over water and with a tight green. To play safe make a second shot away from the water and then take a pitching-wedge third shot to the green.

Hole 18

Island green and teeing off from an elevated tee. Green slopes away from the centre. This large undulating green gives you false sense of security: play to the edge and the ball may go in the water, place it too far away from the hole and chances are you will three putt it.
