It does get rather cool during the evenings so make sure that you take a warm coat just in case.    The Red Sea covers an area of approximately 800,000 Sq metres and is 2,130 metres deep at its deepest point. Geologist’s studies have assessed that it was formed about 20 million years ago when the Arabian Peninsula tore itself away from Africa and in 1869 it became a major route for commercial shipping when the Suez Canal was finally opened.   If you take the chance to do some snorkelling or scuba diving while on your Tee Times Egyptian golf break, you will be treated to a spectacular undersea world full of beautiful and gigantic coral outcrops, amazingly coloured undersea plant life, and an incredible array of tropical sea life. You will also be treated to the site of various ship wrecks which have been preserved by the clear warm waters of this magnificent sea.
