Fancourt Bramble Hill Golf Course

fancourtThe Bramble Hill course at Fancourt was opened in 2002 and was designed by the great Gary Player. It is the only public course on our list but don’t be lead into thinking that that this is just any old public course.It measures 6262 metres from the back tees and has a difficult par of 72. It has an interesting design as it is predominately a parkland course but contains many links style features.

Mossel Bay Golf Club

Mossel Bay
Mossel bay Golf Club, a Tee Times choice for your South African golf break, is one of the older golf courses in South Africa and as such has an interesting history behind it. Originally built in 1905 the course was then rebuilt in 1924 on a completely different piece of land, it took 2 years to build and the new course was opened in 1926. The club has gone through some trying times but today, after a major redesign and rebuild in 1999 by Danie Obermeyer and Philip Basson, the course is rated as one of the top courses in South Africa.
