The hotel has recently been refurbished and many activities have been added to make your stay as exciting and varied as you like during one of our Algarve golf breaks. The rooms have been decorated in a modern and bright design and are extremely spacious, they have all the facilities you would expect from a top class hotel, including air-conditioning and satellite TV. From the hotel there is direct access to the Praia Sra da Rocha beach or you can laze by the two fabulous outdoor swimming pools during your Algarve golf breaks, of which one is specially designed for children there is also an indoor salt water pool for your enjoyment. The other facilities included at this fantastic hotel are a wellness centre where you can be pampered in relaxed surroundings, a games room, multi-sport courts, where you can enjoy Tennis, football and Basketball. There is also a Pestana Kid's club to keep the children occupied while you laze by the pool or go for one of your rounds of golf on your Algarve golf breaks. Because of its beach location there is obviously the chance to engage in some water sport activities such as sailing and water skiing. The Pestana group owns three golf courses near the hotel, Gramacho, Vale da Pinta and Silves, which are all worth a game at on your Algarve golf breaks. They are all very different from each other and provide a great test of golf for all levels of golfing abilities. Gramacho and Vale da Pinta are closest to the hotel and Silves is a further 20 minu  te drive away from those courses. You can choose many other courses to play and enjoy during your Algarve golf breaks and some are relatively close to the hotel, such as, Penina, Palmares and Boavista.Because of the Pestana Viking's location, you will be able to visit the towns of Portimao and Lagos, during your Algarve golf breaks, if you are wishing to experience a bit of traditional Portuguese life and culture.
