While staying in this area on your golf in Italy trip you may come across the name of one of Italy’s famous philosophers and jurists, Gian Domenico Romagnosi. He was born in the building

when it was once a house, it did not become a hotel until the beginning of the 19th century. Over the years the building has undergone many alterations and the last major change to be carried out was in 1978 when the main façade was demolished and seven unsafe garrets where taken down but this is a long way from where the hotel is now and after a long period of renovation and redecoration it was reopened in December 2005.
The hotel is not big and has only 39 rooms but that is the charm of this hotel which we hope will enhance your stay while playing golf in Italy. It combines historical charm with great attention to detail and from the moment you enter through the elegant entrance you will enter into a relaxed and unforgettable atmosphere.
Each of the 39 rooms has been tastefully furnished and beautifully decorated, they have wooden floors and there are rooms with or without a mansard.

The restaurant offers exceptional cuisine with dishes from local Italian to international and there is a terrace area which offers fabulous alfresco dining.
For those wishing to indulge themselves during their golf in Italy trip then there are 2 spas located close to the hotel, the beautiful Berzieri thermal spa, which is opposite and the L.Zoja spa, which is just a short walk from the Albergo Casa.
Although the hotel is close to the centre of Salsomaggiore Terme it sits in an area which is tranquil and relaxing and if you fancy a little exercise while taking a look around this wonderful spa town, then the hotel can organise bicycle hire for you making a welcome break from playing your golf in Italy.
