If you decide to visit Venice when you are playing golf in Italy, our advice is to  take one of the small beautifully looked after speed boats (water taxis) which are parked directly outside the airport, to get to Venice. They are a little expensive but to watch the buildings of Venice begin to grow bigger as you get nearer the city, is something to behold.
